Jira integration

Connection beta

A Jira AI project manager that keeps Jira as the system of record.

Connect Jira through Atlassian OAuth and help shape a review-first Jira AI project manager workflow for project context, standups, status reports, and proposed updates.

Atlassian OAuth connection and encrypted credential storage are implemented. Live production project import, continuous sync, and write-back are not generally available yet.

Connected system

Jira Cloud

Preview

Authorization

A workspace user starts the Atlassian OAuth consent flow.

Connection

huzlr stores encrypted access and refresh credentials and reports connection state.

Next phase

Design partners will validate which projects, fields, and write actions belong in the coordination workflow.

Illustrative workflow. Availability is stated explicitly below.

Integration boundary

Connect first. Expand data movement only with clear controls.

The current implementation establishes the Atlassian connection. The import and write-back experience still needs production validation.

01

Authorize Atlassian

Start the Jira OAuth flow from an authenticated huzlr workspace and approve the requested access.

02

Confirm connection

huzlr stores encrypted credentials and exposes whether the user's Jira connection is present.

03

Choose the context

The intended beta lets teams select the Jira projects and fields that should inform delivery coordination.

04

Review every action

Import and write-back behavior should remain visible and reviewable before it changes the system of record.

Product truth

What is available—and what is not yet.

Private-beta pages should make the current boundary clear enough for a buyer to evaluate without guessing.

Available now

  • An authenticated Atlassian OAuth authorization and callback flow.
  • Encrypted storage for Jira access and refresh credentials.
  • Connection status surfaced to the signed-in huzlr user.

Not generally available yet

  • Generally available live Jira project and issue import—the current project selection experience uses demonstration data.
  • Continuous bidirectional synchronization between huzlr and Jira.
  • Automatic Jira issue creation or updates from meeting action items.

Evaluation questions

What teams ask first.

What would a Jira AI project manager do?

The intended workflow uses selected Jira context to support coordination, standup records, reviewed status reports, and proposed actions. Live issue import and write-back are still in production validation.

Can I import live Jira projects today?

Not as a generally available production workflow. The OAuth connection is implemented, while the current project-selection experience still uses demonstration data.

Does huzlr replace Jira?

No. The product direction keeps Jira as a system of record and adds coordination around meetings, project context, blockers, and next actions.

Are Jira credentials stored securely?

The backend encrypts the access and refresh tokens before storing the connection. Production security review and operational controls still remain part of rollout.
